Count your many blessings!!!

Have courage for the great sorrows of life and patience for the small ones; and when you have laboriously accomplished your daily task, go to sleep in peace. God is awake.» — Victor Hugo

I woke up in the middle of the night last night...wide awake! I was snuggling Ethan and must have fallen asleep with him, something that is starting to become routine these days.

I tried my hardset to fall back to sleep but couldn't because the pouring rain outside was just too loud. As I laid there listening to the trickles of water drip from the deck I couldn't help think of all the things that have happened in the last 3 months. The ups and downs. And in the end I came to the conclusion that I am the luckiest girl around. I have 3 beautiful children, a wonderful handsome husband, and a great extended family. What more could I ask for!

Everyday I have so many things to look forward to, and these are just a few:

Every morning while driving home after dropping off the girls at school, Ethan asks "mom," I reply "what?" Ethan "where's Hallie?" I reply "At school" Ethan "mom" me again "what" Ethan "where's Hallie" me "At school," and he just repeats this over and over again and then finally he gives me this big cheesy grin and says "Ok."

I love hearing the kids play using their wild imaginations...some of the things they come up with I really need to start recording. They are so funny sometimes!!

I like picking them up from school and listening to all the fun things they did that day and whose snack day it was. They always argue over whose snack was better and then pull out everything in their bags to see what each other made. I love when they tell each other that what they made is "breathtaking" or "gorgeous." (Two of Hallie's latest words)

The list goes on and on of things that make each day worth moving to the next!

Life is good!

Getting a massage!
My girls never coloured on anything but paper....but my boy, he will only colour on something if it isn't paper. I was getting ready for the day and when I came out of the bathroom this was what I found. Luckily it was washable markers. As you can see by his face he thought it was a masterpiece!

He is always so happy lately! So fun to be around!
This part of his graft tore open this week. It seems like just when we are starting to make progress we take a few steps back!
